See what HQ did for you this week
Under the Books Health panel on the Ledger Dashboard, a short sentence says what HQ did on its own in the last 7 days, for example: "In the last 7 days HQ matched 38 bank lines to bills, picked up 12 bills from your inbox and read 5 receipts you scanned."
Every number is an exact count of records in your books, and each one is a link to the screen where you can see them:
- Bank lines matched to bills. Bank lines the matcher paired with a bill by itself. A line that paid several bills counts once. Matches you made yourself are not counted, and neither is one you have since undone. The link opens Ledger › Expenses, where What TALISK_HQ matched for you lists each match so you can check it.
- Bills and receipts picked up from your inbox. Documents the inbox scanner found in your email and added to Ledger › Expenses. Duplicates it caught, documents you discarded and emails it set aside as not being an invoice are not counted. The link opens the list pinned to exactly those documents (up to 50 of them).
- Receipts you scanned. Receipts you photographed on your phone that HQ read and you then saved. The link opens the bills they became.
- Bank lines from your bank feed. Lines that arrived on their own from a connected bank. Statements you uploaded and lines you typed in are not counted. The link opens Ledger › Banking.
The card is about the active book only. Switch books and it shows that book's week.
Good to know: The card counts work over the last 7 days, rolling, not a calendar week. It
shows counts only: it never estimates time saved. It changes nothing in your
books, and a count of zero is left out, so on a quiet week the card does not
appear. Bank lines coded by one of your transaction rules are not counted,
because Talisk does not record which lines a rule coded.
